ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A missing 14-year-old boy, whose mother was found slain in a Dr. Phillips-area home in August, has been found.
Ricardo Chang was last seen Monday evening at the Central Florida Behavioral Center on Central Florida Parkway in Orlando. An attorney for the family confirmed that the teen had safely returned late Wednesday evening.
The boy's mother, Jorgete Acarie, was found shot to death in her bed in her Dr. Phillips-area home. Her 2-year-old son was found next to her body but was unharmed. Investigators think Acarie's ex-boyfriend, Kristofer Gould, the father of the 2-year-old, is involved in Acarie's killing.
