More than 3,000 teenagers die in car crashes every year, but one valley program is trying to change that number.
Arizona teens who are newly licensed drivers or hold a learners permit, with 30 hours behind the wheel, can sign up for one of three free driver-training sessions to learn safe-driving techniques and get more driving experience.
The Ford Driving Skills for Life program will be at Firebird Raceway on Dec. 5 and 6.
The Ford DSFL is a national award-winning teen driver safety program and has been running for nine years.
Teens will learn speed management, space management, vehicle handling and hazard recognition.
