NJDOT Awarded $10M Grant To Rebuild Roads Damaged By Sandy

Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. announced that the US Department of Transportation has awarded $10 million to the NJDOT.
The money is earmarked for highway, road and sign repair in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
The funds became available as a result of the formal emergency declaration.
"Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc on our roads throughout the
state, including many that pass through the Sixth District," said
Pallone. "I thank the Department of Transportation for this funding that
will help us move forward in our recovery from Sandy and repair our
transportation infrastructure so it is safe for our drivers."
