Team Georgia launches Safe Holiday Campaign

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Team Georgia launched its 2012 "Safe Holiday Campaign" on Thursday.

The group has teamed up with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety, Checker Cab and Budweiser and AAA's "Tow to Go" service to provide partygoers with a free ride home.

Last December, there were 746 alcohol related crashes in Georgia, resulting in seven deaths.

Officials say a DUI in the state of Georgia can cost up to $10,000, your job and your family. It stays on your record for a minimum of 55 years.
