Police find decomposing body in Queens

The decomposing body of a woman was found by police inside a Queens home Sunday morning.

Officers were called to 90-34 54th Avenue in the Elmurst section around 9:00 a.m. where they found the corpse of 62-year-old Lorraine Cetrone on the second floor. Authorities say Cetrone sustained several stab wounds to the back.

The Cetrone was apparently stabbed with a combat knife.

A 63-yer-old man was also found with a stab wound to the chest and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
