FCC Chief: Relax Gadget Restrictions on Airplanes

There should be more freedom to use electronic gadgets on airplanes, the head of the Federal Communications Commission wrote in a letter obtained by the The Hill. Julius Genachowski says cell phones and other devices have become such a big part of our daily lives and work that the FAA should look at reducing restrictions, such as powering off devices during take-off and landing.
