Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Scott McDonald Friday afternoon after responding to a vehicle collision.
A Dodge Challenger and a pickup truck were at the crash scene near Courtright Road and Vanderslice Road.
According to MCSO, deputies smelled an odor of alcohol the Dodge's driver, McDonald, and inside the car, they "observed an empty six pack bottle container and an unopened bottle on the floorboard."
Deputies say McDonald, 24, admitted to drinking and driving during an interview. He was given field sobriety tests and taken into custody.
An analysis revealed that McDonald had a blood alcohol concentration of .255 percent and he was booked into jail without incident.
Authorities say the Dodge rear-ended the truck and no one was injured in the crash.
McDonald faces super extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20 percent and open container in vehicle charges.
