At this time of year when friends and family gather for holiday celebrations, we often hear it said that "the more, the merrier". So in line with that merriment, this week's Wednesday's Child is spending some time with a fantastic sibling set of four who are wishing for a gift that will grow throughout the years – a forever family.
And when it comes to hearing the wishes of children, it never hurts to start with a visit to … you guessed it, Santa! This year we caught up with the busy wish-listener at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California.
Starting with big sister Audrey (2001), we learn that, like many her age, this "tween" likes to chat and listen to music, especially Taylor Swift. Audrey also shared that her favorite past time is reading, and we are glad to report that this studious young girl has her sights on going to college someday.
Isaiah (2003) is the brother in the bunch and is active, inquisitive and does well in school. Isaiah has a knack for building things and at the moment, he's really into airplanes. Isaiah has an achiever's mentality and is bound to set out and achieve some good goals.
Next comes Arianna (2004) -- the quiet, thoughtful, soft-spoken one. Arianna takes many of her leads from older sister Audrey but she spends much of her free time with little sister Angelique. In her own free time, Arianna likes to tap into her creative/artistic side and draw.
Last but not least, there's Angelique (2006) – the carefree, talkative and affectionate one. This little one's favorite past times include singing, dancing and playing with dolls.
All four children are doing well academically and are learning more all the time. Our wish is that they learn how merry it can feel to grow up together in a loving, supportive and permanent family.
