Reward offered for identity of 3-time bank robber

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

Investigators are looking for a man who robbed two Scottsdale Wells Fargo banks and one Chase bank in the last few weeks.

The man enters the banks wearing sunglasses and a baseball hat. He displays a demand note and puts the money into a lunch bag. No weapon has been seen.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, average build, 6'2" to 6'5" tall, 200-250 lbs. with short brown/dirty blonde hair. In the most recent robbery, he had a beard.

  • Nov. 8, 2012, 4:30 p.m., Chase Bank, 16852 N. Thompson Peak Parkway, Scottsdale
  • Nov. 9, 2012, 2:46 p.m., Wells Fargo, 23405 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale
  • Dec. 5, 2012, 4:25 p.m., Wells Fargo, 15760 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., Scottsdale

Wells Fargo is offering up to a $5,000 reward for original information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of a criminal suspect.
