PAULSBORO, N.J. -

Fifty-four Paulsboro residents are now suing CONRAIL and its parent company, CSX, over the train derailment that leaked vinyl chloride and forced the evacuation of hundreds of families.

The residents say they are seeking money as well as medical screening.

Earlier this week, officials removed the ruptured train car that leaked the vinyl chloride.

Crews remain at the scene of the derailment to remove debris, which must take place before the remaining train cars be removed.
