O'Hare janitors set to lose jobs Friday

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Several hundred O'Hare janitors will lose their jobs Friday.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel recently awarded a new contract to a different company. It will reportedly save the city $10 million.

Critics claim the current janitors will be replaced with non-union workers.

Chicago Federation of Labor President Jorge Ramirez had hoped to convince Emanuel to rebid the contract.
