PHILADELPHIA -

FOX 29 gets results for a Philadelphia man who just wanted his new dining room set in time for the holidays.

When our Bruce Gordon arrived at Wright's Furniture on the 6300 block of Roosevelt Blvd., it was a chaotic scene.

The place was boarded up, with angry customers out front, talking to police, and workers loading furniture onto rental trucks out back.

Howard Foreman had called us here.

"I've seen you guys resolve problems all the time," Foreman told Gordon. "I thought, 'let me call these guys!'"

Foreman was a longtime customer of the furniture store, and paid $3000 in cash for a dining room set back in October, but was still waiting for the curio cabinet.

Gordon entered the store, looking for answers. Foreman followed, and exchanged angry words with store manager Mike Forded.

"I gave you my money two months ago!" Foreman shouted. "And I still have not gotten my furniture!"

Foreman described the wait as "Very frustrating."

Foredd told Gordon that Wright's has lost its lease and is in the process of moving to a new, Bustleton Avenue location.

Foreman's furniture was on site.

"You're going to get this resolved and get this curio cabinet delivered?" asked Gordon of Foredd.

Foredd agreed to get the piece delivered quickly, so Gordon remained on site to make sure there were no delays.

Within the hour, workers loaded the shrink-wrapped cabinet aboard a truck, drove it to Foreman's home nearby and set it up in his now-complete dining room.

Foreman was grateful.

"You guys came, like angels," he told Gordon. "I've got my cabinet, and I'm a happy man now. I'm sure you guys, you know, put some fire under these guys to get it done."

Mike Foredd told Gordon he had been trying to reach Foreman over the past two months, but had a bad phone number.

Foreman says he'll give the store the benefit of the doubt. He now has his dining room set in place for the holidays.
