PHOENIX (AP) - Gov. Jan Brewer, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema will speak Saturday at the dedication of an Arizona monument celebrating the nation's Bill of Rights.
The event takes place at 10 a.m. at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza at the Capitol in Phoenix.
The privately funded $400,000 monument consists of 10 limestone monoliths. It was designed and sculpted by Joseph Kincannon of Austin, Texas.
A May comedy performance raised $125,000.
Other fundraising sources tapped by the campaign ramrodded by comedian Chris Bliss included grants from foundations.
