CTA eliminates 12 bus routes, adds service to congested lines

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Some changes are in effect Monday morning on dozens of CTA bus routes.
Twelve bus routes have been eliminated, while the CTA will add service to more congested ones.
It's part of a crowd reduction program to provide more buses and trains to routes that receive the highest amount of ridership more than three-quarters of Chicago commuters.
The CTA is also adding service to six of eight train lines.
