Over 3,000 residents in the Belgian town of Hasselt have offered their discarded kitchen wares to erect a Christmas Tree made entirely of ceramic plates and cups.
It took a week to assemble the 5,000 cups, bowls and plates donated by residents to make up the 30-foot "tree."
Local designers at a company called MOOZ are behind the project.
Hasselt is the capital of the Flemish province of Limburg. The town of about 70,000 inhabitants dates back to the 7th century.
