SURPRISE, Ariz. -
It's a present you can't find in any store and no amount of money can replace. A valley soldier, home for the holidays, surprised his kids when he arrived on their doorstep concealed inside a giant wrapped gift.
Returning home from the Air Force after being overseas for almost a year, Staff Sergeant Joshua Durrer gave his kids quite the Christmas surprise.
"My family is my life so it was really moving, I held it together pretty good," he said.
"He had been over seas for the last six years, we had been living in Germany so this is our kids first American Christmas," said wife Jenn Durrer.
Sgt. Durrer said the surprise made his year.
