Amateur video footage appears to capture a golden eagle swooping down to snatch a toddler.
In the video, an eagle with a six-foot wing span is circling high above a public park in Montreal. Suddenly, it drops down and grabs the child from behind with its talons and even lifts the boy off the ground a few feet before dropping him.
The video has gone "viral' on the web, but critics claim it is a hoax.
