TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Some New Jersey medical marijuana patients are upset about an email sent to them by the state Health Department.
Patient Lisa Segal of Wenonah says the email was sent in such a way that each recipient can see the list of the other patients.
The email went out Tuesday to more than 300 patients registered in the state's program.
The Health Department on Wednesday apologized for the error and said it has taken steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Some patients have been growing frustrated that they're not able to get the legal cannabis yet. The state's first dispensary opened in Montclair on Dec. 6 and under state regulation is seeing patients one at a time and only by appointment.
