CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago police are helping those in need, hundreds of miles away in New Jersey, this holiday season.

They have donated toys to Hurricane Sandy victims, and will personally deliver them to the kids. Many on the Jersey Shore are still recovering from the October storm.

Chicago Police Officer Sidney Davis is driving the toys from Chicago to New Jersey.

The Robin Hood Foundation is also distributing the first $50 million raised at the star-studded concert on 12-12-12.

The nearly six-hour show featured performers like Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Kayne West, Alicia Keyes and Bon Jovi.
