Police are warning Lawndale residents of two violent robberies that happened in the last week.
In both incidents, the victims were struck multiple times and had their property stolen, according to an alert issued by Area Central detectives.
The first robbery happened about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of South Harding Avenue, according to the alert. The second robbery happened about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of South Hamlin Avenue.
The robbers are described as four black men between 25 and 30 years old, the alert said.
