It's the first freeze of the season. Outlying parts of Queen Creek, Chandler, and San Tan Valley get ready -- temperatures are taking a big dip overnight Thursday.
A high pressure has caused all the heat to escape, and the cold air from the last storm is what remains.
The overnight low at Sky Harbor will 37 -- 28 in Chandler. There will also be overnight lows in the 20s and 30s in southeastern Arizona.
Residents are reminded to cover their plants if they're going to be affected by the freeze warning, which begins at 2 a.m.
FOX 10's Andrew Hasbun talked to some people who are enjoying the seasonal cold.
