The runaway success of 50 Shades of Grey has launched a new genre of books dubbed steamies - erotic stories for teens. The Independent quotes a publisher as describing the books as "escapist romances, featuring young women, the same age as the readers, exploring their first sexual desires and their first sexual experiences."
