Man sought in Titusville shooting that injured two

Posted: Updated:

Titusville Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man whom they say shot and injured two people Monday, including a teen caught in crossfire.

Authorities say Brandon Rashad Jones, 19, approached a group of people on Rockpit Road armed with a shotgun and fired multiple times at his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.

The victim was struck in the shoulder. The 15-year-old boy was not targeted but inadvertently struck in the shooting.

Both victims' injuries are not life-threatening, but the intended victim's arm will have to be amputated, authorities said.

Police say Jones should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts or information in the shooting is urged to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
