Man dies after shooting over Air Jordan shoes

The man shot over the new Air Jordan shoes has died.

Joshua Wood, 22, and a friend were headed home after purchasing several shoes in Willowbrook Mall on Dec. 21, investigators say.

As they pulled up in front of their home on Plumwood Drive, two armed men demanded the shoes.

Wood's friend ran away.  Wood got behind the wheel and tried to drive away, but the robbers shot him three times, causing him to crash.

The friend was not hurt.

Deputies are searching for the killers.
