CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a pregnant woman seriously injured in a traffic crash in Chandler delivered her baby before dying at a hospital.
Chandler police say 30-year-old Wei Chu died at a Chandler-area hospital Wednesday after being involved in a collision near Gilbert and Ocotillo roads.
Chu was a backseat passenger in a sedan when the car was struck by a flatbed truck.
There were no other reported injuries.
Police say excessive speed by the two drivers and impairment didn't appear to be factors in the crash.
