HALL COUNTY, Ga. -
Police in Hall County are investigating the shooting death of an employee at a Mitsubishi dealership, and they're asking for help from the public in tracking down a vehicle that was stolen during the murder.
Gainesville police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. Friday at Carriage Mitsubishi, which is located on Browns Bridge Road. They say the slain employee's body was found inside the dealership's service department.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Charles Weaver, whom police say worked in the service department. The dealership is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for Weaver's murder.
Investigators say a pick-up truck was stolen from the dealership shortly after the murder, and it has very distinctive markings. The missing vehicle is a red 2011 Nissan Frontier with Georgia tag #BSA7013.
Police say the person driving the stolen truck may be armed and should be considered very dangerous. Anyone who has seen it is asked to call 911 or the Gainesville Police Department immediately.
