Golf in Schools is a national golf enrichment program that offers after-school classes and camps for school-aged children (www.golfinschoolsusa.com).

We are looking for part-time instructors who share our passion for the game of golf while serving the youth in their community. Instructors will help assist and/or lead instruction for after-school golf enrichment classes. Classes are held on school campuses in Highland Park, Deerfield, and Wilmette. Class sizes range from 5 to 20 students (student/teacher ratio 1:8). Instructors are required to help set up learning areas, and assist in delivering the Golf in Schools curriculum. Classes are up-beat, and require instructors to help deliver a fun-filled experience for students.

Job Specifics:

After-school classes are 1 hour, and take place between 3:20pm-4:20pm, M-F.

Classes take place on school campuses (fields and gyms)

Classes are being taught in Highland Park, Deerfield, and Wilmette.

Classes are currently in session .

Training will begin ASAP

Qualifications:

-Experience working with school-aged students a huge plus!

-Must be college graduate or currently attending classes

-Must be available in the afternoons, and have a reliable mode of transportation.

-Experience teaching golf is a plus, but not necessary (training provided)

-Must be able to manage a group-learning environment and enjoy the company of kids

Compensation:

$25-$35 per after-school class

Up to $300 per week for Spring and Summer Camps
