Now open and welcoming guests, Disney's Art of Animation Resort at Walt Disney World Resort invites visitors to become a part of their favorite animated films.
Disney World fans soon will have a new way to personalize the park -- wrapped around their wrist.
"MagicBands" are the company's newest all-access pass and are part of an initiative it's calling MyMagic+.
According to Disney, there are three components to MyMagic+:
First, visitors can provide information about their trip on the "My Disney Experience" website and mobile app to personalize their park visit.
Second, the "FastPass+" will allow guests to book reservations for rides from home.
And the radio-frequency MagicBands will allow park-goers to come and go from hotels, buy souvenirs and more.
The new My Disney Experience has not yet been rolled out for all park-goers. Disney leaders say they need to refine it before its debut. A spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel that the company will be rolling out components of MyMagic+ over "the next few months."
