Many themes in the nation's emotional gun-control debate were echoed Wednesday night in Orlando as six local opponents and proponents shared their views with a live audience.

More than 60 people attended the panel discussion at the Orlando Sentinel, which sponsored the event with FOX 35 in the aftermath of the December school shootings in Newtown, Conn.
