WOODSIDE, Del. -
Delaware State Police are searching for two suspects who were involved in the robbery of a road flagger who was working to control traffic during a road construction project.
Police say the robbery happened around 10:15 a.m. Monday morning in the area of Walnut Shade Road in Woodside.
The 21-year-old road flagger was approached by two suspects who needed an escort to go into the construction zone. Police say as the flagger walked in front of the suspects, they began to assault him and forced him to the ground.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the victim, police said.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
