
ABOUT US
Centro is a small technology and advertising company based out of Chicago with offices across the country. We are currently looking for another member to our awesome IT support department. We'll provide a competitive salary, tuition reimbursement a nice loft workplace, foosball table, and unlimited soda consumption. You should provide a solid understanding of: operating systems, networking, and notebook hardware, and most importantly (even over experience) a passion for technology and gadgets.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Diagnose problems through troubleshooting skills, logic, and research
• Provide basic LAN/VPN support
• Provide direct support for Microsoft-based laptops, along with user access to network resources and applications, both locally as well as through remote access
• Provide direct support for services such as office phones, printers, mobile devices, and video conferencing
• Provide direct support for company resources, software installs and upgrades, office relocations, and expansions
• Deploy notebooks
• Maintain records of hardware, software, and network inventory
• Maintain existing documentation and create new documentation as required
• On the job training is highly encouraged
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in and contribute in a team environment
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and develop resolutions to complex problems
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions, complete time-sensitive tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a true desire to help fellow employees
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least one year of direct support preferred
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor degree in a technology related field
