$50,000 Reward Offered After Man Attacks Letter Carrier

PHILADELPHIA -
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service announced Thursday it was offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for attacking a mailman in Philadelphia.
According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the attack happened on November 17th just before 4 p.m. on the 2200 block of Yelland Street.
The postal service describes the suspect as a black man, 17-years of age up to his mid 20s standing between 5'8" to 5'10" tall with a medium build and weighing approximately 150-170 pounds.
Investigators say he was last seen wearing a dark green jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and a black vest over the jacket.
The suspect was also last seen wearing black pants and black shoes.
