PHILADELPHIA -

A Dense Fog Advisory has been extended until 9 a.m. in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. It's still soupy out there, so leave early!

Check: Weather Watches, Warnings, Advisories

The National Weather Service says viability could be less than one quarter of a mile at times, which could cause for hazardous driving conditions.

The fog caused delays for some incoming flights at Philadelphia International Airport Sunday. The FAA reports incoming flights were delayed an average of two hours and 30 minutes due to the weather and "low ceilings."

The National Weather Service recommends drivers leave plenty of distance between vehicles when driving Sunday night.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.

It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday.  The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.

Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday.  With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
