A new restaurant and beer lounge has opened in a historic building in downtown Orlando.
Eternal Tap features dozens of specialty craft beers and serves brick-oven pizza.
A hundred years ago, the historic building was the Bumby Hardware store. Bumby Avenue is named after the former hardware store's owner, Joseph Bumby.
Eternal Tap is two stories: a beer bar upstairs and whiskey lounge downstairs.
"Downstairs has a 'speakeasy' theme, with specialty whiskeys and beers," Eternal Tap owner Jeremy Roberts told Fox 35's David Martin. "'Speakeasy' harkens back to Prohibition, when alcohol was illegal, where people hid out and drank."
However, "nothing is high-priced," he said. "We definitely try to accommodate everyone."
Eternal Tap is at 116. W. Church St. Go to EternalTap.com for more information.
