Police in DeKalb County say a man repeatedly fired shots at officers during a lengthy SWAT standoff on Monday. The incident occurred at a home on Clifton Church Road in Decatur.
Authorities were responding to a 911 called about shots fired around 4 p.m.
"When the officers got there, they started hearing gunshots in the area, couldn't tell if they were being fired upon or not. We backed up, we activated our SWAT team," said Capt. A.T. Mears of the DeKalb County Police Department.
The alleged shooter's friend Courtney Miller says he noticed something wasn't right with the man earlier in the day.
Police eventually took three men into custody for questioning. No one was injured.
