POINCIANA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Osceola County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying an armed burglary and sexual battery suspect.
On January 14 at approximately 8:56 a.m., deputies responded to a home on Lucaya Drive in Poinciana. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who said a man came to her door and continuously rang the doorbell. The victim looked out the window and recognized the suspect as someone who had previously come to her home to request to use the telephone. The victim did not answer the door but was frightened so, she hid inside the home.
She said the suspect entered her home through an unlocked back door and forced
her to perform a sex act. The suspect then left.
The victim describes the suspect as a dark-skinned, black man, approximately 5'7" to 5'11 tall, and 23 to 25 years of age. He has a stocky build with short hair and a short beard. He was wearing long pants and a T-shirt with no collar.
