Northside Hospital halts job fair due to overwhelming response

Northside Hospital held a job fair Wednesday but had to call it off early due to the overwhelming number of people that showed up looking for work.
The hospital was hoping to fill 500 jobs. it is not clear when the decision was made to shut the job fair down. It was supposed to end at 3 p.m.
A Northside Hospital spokesman said those in line could continue into the job fair, but others had to be turned away. Sandy Springs police said there wasn't enough parking for everyone.
Northside Hospital said they will hold another job fair, but a date has not been announced.
