Students at the University of Central Florida are on edge this morning as authorities continue to search for a third suspect in the armed robbery of a UCF delivery man over the weekend.
Campus police say a Wing Zone delivery man was at the Tower IV dorms early Sunday morning to make a delivery when he came out to see three men rummaging through his car.
Moments later, investigators say a semiautomatic gun was pointed at him.
The suspects took the delivery man's wallet and drove off. The victim, who is also a UCF student, was able to provide investigators with a good description of the suspects' vehicle.
Authorities found the vehicle at a nearby apartment complex and later arrested Brandon Simeon and Dontae Wallock, both 19 and of Lauderhill, in connection with the armed robbery.
"There are always cops around here [on campus], so someone would have to be real bold to do that," student Justin McCarey said.
UCF Police issued email and text message alerts to students, warning them of the armed robbery.
"This is crazy. It's a scary thing to think about. There's still one of those guys roaming around here, and they don't even know who it is? What if he comes to attack again?" student Charquoya Smith said.
Simeon and Wallock have been charged with robbery and burglary with a firearm. Wallock has been released from jail on bond.
