Clayton County authorities recapture escaped prisoner - FOX 35 News Orlando

Authorities in Clayton County recaptured an escaped prisoner on Tuesday.

Police say a 50-year-old trustee ran away from his work detail near Lovejoy Road, and entered a patch of woods near a soccer complex.

Officials say both Lovejoy High School and Lovejoy Middle School were placed on lockdown while they tracked down the inmate.

The inmate, identified as Steven Bone, was located just after 2 p.m., police said.
