ATLANTA -
Atlanta schools are passing it forward and giving back.
As part of a booster fundraiser, students raised money to buy basketball hoops for young patients at Children's Hospital at Scottish Rite.
The booster club delivered 200 basketball hoop sets to child patients on Tuesday.
The basketball hoops give the patients a chance to play while in bed.
The hoop attaches to their bed or door of their room.
The program is designed to encourage local elementary school students to give a gift to a child in need and honor a local hospital making a difference.
