CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

An American Eagle flight bound for Chicago from New Orleans reported passenger injuries upon arrival at O'Hare International Airport on Wednesday.

Fire Media reported Wednesday morning that three passengers on flight 3720 complained of head injuries relating to turbulence during its descent. The 26 passenger flight landed at O'Hare at 9:31 a.m.

Several passengers complained of neck and back pain sustained when the Bombardier CRJ-700 ran into excessive turbulence, according American Airlines spokeswoman Mary Frances Fagan.

Officials said one patient was taken to the hospital after paramedics took a look at the three affected passengers at the scene. Two chose not to receive medical treatment.
