OPD: Convicted felon shoots at Orlando Police officer

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Orlando Police said they were questioning two men on Cinderlane Parkway Tuesday night when one of the men, 22-year-old Sadiki Allwood, started shooting at them.

Officers said they returned fire and Allwood took off running.   They said his friend, 29-year-old Makabee Seow, ran as well.

Allwood was shot in the shoulder, and treated and released from the hospital.  He is charged with attempted murder on a law enforcement officer,  aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Seow faces charges of resisting an officer without violence, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were in the Orange County Jail Wednesday afternoon.
