Man Arrested For String Of Bucks County Jewelry Robberies

Following a yearlong investigation into a string of robberies throughout Bucks County, police have arrested 32 year-old Anthony Fanaro of Levittown, Pa.

He has been charged with 26 counts of burglary, theft and other related charges.

Police allege that Fanaro is a part of a burglary ring that would break into Bucks COunty homes and steal jewelry.

The jewelry would be later be sold at "Cash for Gold" stores throughout Philadelphia.    The participants in these crimes are thought to be heroin addicts.  They used the money generated from these crimes to fuel their drug habits.

Fanara was the last person to be arrested in connection with this ring. Fanaro remains in jail on $1,000,000 bail.
