Marcello's Restaurants and Father & Son Italian Kitchen is looking for the right candidate to head up our marketing effort.

If you are an energetic, customer focused individual, who is eager to lead our grass roots marketing effort, then we want to speak to you!

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to help increase customer count and sales in all categories of the business: Dine-In, Carry- Out, Catering and Off Premise Parties with a creative and energetic marketing plan.

History:

"Father & Son Original" Restaurant has been established in the Chicago area for over 60 years. Later we opened two "Marcello's" Restaurants, one has an onsite bakery. They all offer Dine In, Delivery/Pick Up, Catering and also feature additional party rooms.

We also recently opened "Father and Son Italian Kitchen" in Skokie, which is the flagship store of an exciting new Quick Casual concept.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in developing the overall marketing strategy for Father & Son / Marcello's / Father and Son Italian Kitchen

-Develop and assist in the production of menus, marketing brochures, create promotional marketing ads, sales kits, email ads and other promotional materials using an Illustrator Software

-Research and analyze new media, print and online advertising opportunities

-Help the growth of our marketing email database

-Manage and maintain all social media and networking, including posting and keeping Facebook, Yelp, etc. current.

-Coordinate and participate in local community business and networking events.

-Assist with administration tasks

-Learn and operate mailing software

-Work with in house contests and promotions

Job Requirements:

The Marketing Manager position is a full time position. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, creative and organized with great public relations skills.

Must have at least 2-5 years marketing experience and familiar with the restaurant industry and social networking.

Marketing /creative design education is preferred
