The FBI and local police are asking for help identifying the man who robbed a Yardley Wells Fargo Bank on Friday.
Around 9:17 a.m. Friday morning, a masked and armed man went into the bank at 706 Stony Hill Road in Yardley and threatened a teller with a gun, FBI said. He demanded the teller fill bags with money from the teller drawer then ordered the employee to go to the vault for more.
Before the employee returned, the man left the bank in a white, mid-sized vehicle on Stony Road toward Heacock Road, reports say.
The suspect is described as white, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds, He was wearing a gray sweat suit with the hood covering his head, a black ski mask, and light green latex gloves, according to the Philadelphia division of the FBI.
This man is considered armed and dangerous. A reward is being offered for information leading to his identification, arrest, and conviction.
