Student Passes Out During Gov. Corbett's Speech

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

A fairly routine education speech in Northeast Philadelphia took a little twist.

Check out what happened as Gov. Tom Corbett spoke at Saint Martin of Tours Elementary School on Friday morning. The clunk you hear on the video was a student fainting. It appears his knees were locked, and he just passed out.

Seconds later, Corbett joined teachers to demonstrate to students why it's important to keep your knees loose.

The student is OK. In fact, he came back a few minutes later to hold a banner thanking Corbett for coming to his school.
