ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Orange County deputies are searching for suspects after a woman's car was burglarized at an Orlando assisted living facility.
It happened at the Spring Hills Assisted Living Center, located at 3800 Town Center Boulevard, in the Hunters Creek area.
Vickie Hann was helping her mother move and said she locked her car and went upstairs to get her mom. When she came back down 10 minutes later, she found her car windows smashed and her purse and iPad stolen. Witnesses said they saw a man with the purse, but were unable to catch him.
Within an hour, police said a woman was using Hann's credit cards at two different Target locations in Osceola County. Authorities on Friday afternoon released images of the woman captured by surveillance cameras.
"I just feel like we all work our whole lives and we work hard. How dare they just take something!" said Hann. "I've never had his happen to me. It's pretty infuriating!"
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said there have been 18 burglaries already this year in south orange county.
