Body found on railroad tracks treated as a homicide - FOX 35 News Orlando

Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man found near the railroad tracks as a homicide.

Last Wednesday around 11 p.m., Mesa patrol officers responded to the railroad tracks near Mesa and Southern on reports of shots fired.

There, they found 31-year-old Matthew Hester with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene," said Mesa Police Sgt. Tony Landato.

No one was nearby and police are now following up on leads.

Hester leaves behind 3 children.
