Study: Red Pen Makes Students Anxious

A study out of the University of Colorado says teachers should not use red pens to grade homework because it makes students feel as though they are being "shouted at." The study suggests the red ink could have a negative impact on the student's relationship with the teacher and how the student feels about him/herself.
