Police in Radnor are looking for a flasher who exposed himself on a local college campus Tuesday morning. It happened at Cabrini College, right outside the athletic center.
"My roommate and I were headed here to the Dixon Center to go work out," explained one of the two victims, whose identities Fox 29 is protecting. As they were about to enter the building just past 11 o'clock Monday morning, "This car pulled up real slow as if he was going to let us pass, and then he pulled up real fast."
The young man said he wanted directions. "He just rolled down his window and he goes, hey you guys know how to get to the mall from here, the King of Prussia mall," she explained. Her roommate added, "Me being the friendly person that I am, I said, oh yeah sure."
But as they got closer to the car, the second victim said, "I look down and the man has no pants on. It was just a shock at first, you know, is this really happening?" Her roommate continued, "His hand was in a very inappropriate spot, no pants on, just a dark purple t-shirt."
Jonathan Miller, a Cabrini College student and basketball player, told Fox 29, "That's kind of scary, especially on campus." Freshman Kaitlyn Meighan was puzzled. "I think it's disgusting. I don't know why you would come here, out of all places anyway."
"It's for self-gratification," Lt. Andy Block of the Radnor Police Department explained. "It's a situation where they do it just so the public sees it, and that is their satisfaction or their gratification, and they leave."
But the victims still feel very much violated, their sense of safety compromised. "I feel less safe everywhere now. One of the reasons I came to this school is it's safe, it's so small you know everybody. And just to have that violated is really scary."
Radnor police are looking for a late 1990's black Honda Accord, with a Penn State sticker on the back right window. The victims were unable to provide a license plate number, since the flasher had removed it prior to the incident.
